Roy and Zeek

Katie and the twins came over the other day and Isaiah was soooo excited! It was so cute. He is so excited to be a big brother and very interested in babies. I can't believe how big Carter and Chloe are getting. Time flies by. Roy was so gentle with Carter and Chloe too. It was adorable. I think he gave Chloe a bath with kisses, but other than that he did great and also was very interested. I can't wait to see how both boys will be with Izzy! Later that day, Roy and Isaiah were cuddling on the couch together. Isaiah is really good with all animals and Roy gravitates to him. Of course a few moments later, Roy is sleeping under blankets like a child. I swear he thinks he is human. I love him though! Such a great, loving, and gentle dog! So I'm nearing the end of my 28th week and am officially in my third trimester. Tuesday night I started to feel a ton of tightness and pains in my belly. Throughout the week, I've noticed at night and if I'm up doing anything besides sitting I get really tight and have more uncomfortable pains. I called the doctor today and she told me to take it easy and drink lots of water. She thinks I'm a bit dehydrated, which is most likely the case...I've never been a very good water drinker. Time to step it up! I have my appointment on Tuesday, so I'll be monitoring until then. Stay tuned for nursery pictures!

Yay Jess, you're getting so close. Those pains sound just like Braxton Hicks contractions, I had those a lot towards the end but are nothing to worry about. Just a way of preparing your body for the real deal.

Sounds like braxton hicks to me too. Take it easy this weekend and drink tons of water! Can't wait to see the nursery pics!

I get a lot of tightness/burning in my upper rib area (right below my huge boobies) My doc said it was my uterus stretching and pushing my organs up which can cause tightness/pain. Sitting up straight or altering your positions a lot can help. Mostly, there's nothing you can do - isn't pregnancy fun? :)
