Where does the time go?

So much has happened since my last posting. I feel like I have no time to post too! I need to be better at this!!! Both of my sisters came into town last weekend for Tala's baby shower. Like always it was great seeing them...maybe even more so now that I can watch them interact with Izzy. Pretty amazing! I'm so excited for Tala to have Trey! Not much longer! I plan on taking off a week of work to go down and see him and help out.

Izzy had her first ferry ride to Poulsbo a couple of weekends ago. My mom, aunt Sandy, and grandma, Izzy and I went to Poulsbo to the famous Scandinavian bakery there. Yummmm they had so many goodies. I picked up some Leafs of course to take home. They actually make the bread Poulsbo that we buy from the grocery stores. Had no idea until we went into the bakery and saw the bread. My mom more pictures, when I get them I'll post them.

We have Izzy on a schedule now. When I went back to work she started waking up every two hours again and nursing for such a long time!! We give her a bath starting at 9ish, lotion up with a baby massage and have floor time. Then I nurse her and read to her. It seems to really help get her down. I think she is adjusting now to me working 2-3 days a week. When I come home each night, she does nurse for a long time though. I miss her so much, but I'm thankful that my mom is watching her on Mondays and Tuesdays and Justin's mom and sister every other Wednesday. Plus I'm blessed to only have to work part time. Izzy has rolled over from tummy to back twice now. I think it is total accident, but still very exciting! She loves her baths and the TV of all things! She is really starting to grab at her toys and have an interest in them. She actually has an interest in everything around her. I love seeing her take in new environments. We are concerned that Izzy may have acid reflux. She spits up all day long and it is the curdle kind. Not fun!

Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.

What a gorgeous girl you have! Very exciting that Tala's baby is right around the corner, you can totally tell from her belly that it's a boy, can't you? Good luck with the acid reflux, Calum has it and we have to give him Gavascon twice a day which isn't fun.

It looks like Izzy has BLUE or GREEN eyes?!!! What a pretty little baby. I have not seen her enough. I hope we can all get together soon. Love you. Tala looks great! I'm excited for her.

Jess - she is absolutely gorgeous! Sorry to hear about the acid reflux - no fun. Very nice that you have her on a schedule now - I know first hand how hard that is! Give Tala my love...it's so neat that you guys will have babies so close in age. Hope to see you soon!
