Introducing Trey Eldon Jones...
Tala delivered Trey Eldon Jones, a healthy baby boy via cesarean today at 11:55am. He weighed in at 9 pounds 3 ounces and is 20 inches long! What is with us Larson girls having such BIG babies? I think Sarah is scared out of her wits to have a baby now after seeing what we can produce! Tala, Trey, and Brian are all doing great. They all three are falling madly in love with each other. Tala and Brian are amazing parents! I'll leave the details of the labor up to Tala to share. I think she may be starting a blog.... what a great first post it will be!

New Tala Update...
Almost forgot...I'm still in Seattle. :( The hospital will only allow two people to be visitors of Tala's. That means her husband and my mom. I guess they are taking precautions with H1N1 going around. We are headed down tomorrow evening and will wait for her to come home. So bummed. I guess it is best though. I'm sure she is absolutely exhausted and the quieter the better.

It doesn't get easier...
I've been back to work now for three weeks and it is getting harder and harder to leave Izzy. I thought it would get better. The first week I was sad...the second week I cried in the car on the way to school... the third week I quietly cried in the dark on Sunday night as I talked about it with my husband. What will week 4 bring? Izzy is changing so fast and I wish I could be with her ALL the time. I know it is healthy for both of us to be apart...and really I can't complain because I work part time. Plus she is in the best hands next to her momma and daddy with Grandma Meredie, Grandma Donna, and Aunt Lori. However I can be selfish right? You never can anticipate the love you will have for your children.
Happy Birthday Papa Jim!

Izzy was facinated by the cake! Hmmm...sweet tooth in her future?

Where does the time go?

We have Izzy on a schedule now. When I went back to work she started waking up every two hours again and nursing for such a long time!! We give her a bath starting at 9ish, lotion up with a baby massage and have floor time. Then I nurse her and read to her. It seems to really help get her down. I think she is adjusting now to me working 2-3 days a week. When I come home each night, she does nurse for a long time though. I miss her so much, but I'm thankful that my mom is watching her on Mondays and Tuesdays and Justin's mom and sister every other Wednesday. Plus I'm blessed to only have to work part time. Izzy has rolled over from tummy to back twice now. I think it is total accident, but still very exciting! She loves her baths and the TV of all things! She is really starting to grab at her toys and have an interest in them. She actually has an interest in everything around her. I love seeing her take in new environments. We are concerned that Izzy may have acid reflux. She spits up all day long and it is the curdle kind. Not fun!
